At 3rd Buckingham Scouts we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more.
We believe in bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance, always. We’re a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.
Adventure is at the heart of everything we do. It is the single most important thing that sets Scouts apart. It's exciting being involved with us. We believe that through the everyday adventure of Scouting, young people and adult volunteers regularly experience new challenges that enrich their lives and meet life long friends.
The welfare of children and young people is our priority.Every adult should have a copy of the Yellow Card Safeguarding Code of Conduct for Adults. It is designed so you can keep it with you at all times during Scouting activities.
You don’t have to be an adventurer like Bear Grylls to get involved with Scouting. Do you have first aid knowledge? Are you good with numbers? Handy in the kitchen? Or are you a DIY whizz? We all have useful skills and you can volunteer and help in many ways. As well as gaining externally recognised skills and having a brilliant time, Scouting also offers the chance to build on personal skills, like teamwork, confidence and leadership.
